Weekend Spanish Immersion in Jardin

Jardín is one of the world’s best coffee producers and is well known for its coffee plantations. Only 3 hours from Medellin, Jardín is a town with brightly colored houses and is a place where you will have a really nice time. It is the perfect place to relax and practice Spanish with locals!

In this weekend program we will provide you with a great experience to practice Spanish while discovering the wonderful Jardín with our team of local guides and teachers. We will make sure you have an unforgettable experience.

Experience Jardín while practicing Spanish

When: Every week from Friday. Bookings are taken every week up to Wednesdays.

Meeting Point: 14:00 in the Jardin main square.

3 Day Weekend Program

Day 1- Friday

Activities and classes start at 14:00 and end at 18:00

2 hours of Spanish classes. Learning useful Spanish for travelling, and important and very helpful grammar.
2 hours of conversational classes.
Guide to discover Jardin.
Scavenger hunts around Jardin.
Coffee time and chat in Spanish in the main square.

Day 2-Saturday

Activities and classes start at 14:00 and end at 18:00

2 hours of Spanish classes to prepare the day’s visits.
2 hours of conversational classes.
Visits to the coffee fields, roasters, and cafes.
Unforgettable experience going to the coffee farm by Chiva (colorful local transport)
Guided walk around the breathtaking natural environment surrounded by pineapples, bananas, exotic flowers, avocados, banana plantations and more..
Coffee time and chat in Spanish in the main square.

Day 3-Sunday

Activities start at 10:00 and end at 14:00

2 hours of morning activities to practice Spanish.
We will finish the weekend having an amazing time at the top of the mountain going up by “Garrucha”, a traditional means of transport.
Visit and lunch in a traditional “trucha” to sample a fresh baked trout.

Price for 3 days:

Please send us an email to confirm the price of the program. Prices can be modified depending on the dates and sometimes on your specific requirements (for example a private room). Immersions require a minimum of 3 participants.

Price includes:

3 full days of speaking Spanish and conversing from morning to the end of the activities
8 hours of “Spanish for travel” classes
4 hours of activities to practice Spanish and discover some of Jardin’s nature
Cultural and historical tour in Jardin
Visit to a coffee plantation with explanation about coffee production
Transport to the coffee plantation
Transport by “Garrucha” to get a wonderful view of the town
Guide and translation in English if needed
Drinks and snacks

In order to confirm your participation, paying 100.000 pesos deposit before the Wednesday night of every weekend departure.

Price does not include:

Medellin/Jardín-Medellin.
Lunch and Dinners. We will advise you on the best traditional cafes and local restaurants.
*If you require a private room the price will increase a little bit.

Proposed activities not included in the price:

Paragliding, hiking, bird watching, swimming pool, horse riding.We will tell you about the different activities you can enjoy in the evenings. This will be free time for you to enjoy the town at your own rhythm.
